Nick Damani – President
Mr. Damani is a co-founder of the Ultra Group of Companies and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board. Prior to founding the Ultra Group, Mr. Damani spent over 15 years in management and consulting in the areas of marketing and information services.
Mr. Damani holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Mr. Damani has been a valuable contributor to the prosperity and successful growth of the industry and business community that Ultra has served in for the past 13 years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Amusement Machine Operators Association (GAMOA), which is the largest Georgia trade association for amusement machines. He is also an active member of Georgia’s Public Communication Association.
He has been strategically involved in Tourism development in India and South & Central America. He was awarded the honor of being included in the 2001-2002 LEXINGTON’S WHO’S WHO REGISTRY of Executives and Professionals. He is the chairman of Charitable Damani Foundation.
Nadiya Damani – Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Damani is a co-founder of the Ultra Group of Companies and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to launching Ultra Group, Ms. Damani was the chief systems engineer for The Home Depot corporate offices in Atlanta, GA. Before joining The Home Depot, she worked for and consulted to several world-class companies such as IBM, NYNEX, NCR and the Centers for Disease Control.
Ms. Damani earned a Masters degree in Information Systems, Finance & Marketing from Georgia State University. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker and manages the Real Estate portfolio including Hotels, Condos and Land Development. She is a Member of National Association of Realtors and serves on the commercial Board.
She has been the recipient of numerous WHO’S WHO awards over the past decade for Business Leadership & Professionalism by numerous organizations including CAMBRIDGE, BILTMORE & STRATHMORE’s. She is a member of VISTAGE which is Largest International CEO member organization in the world. She is Certified Birkman consultant and a National Speaker. She serves as a member of the National Center for Family Philanthropy.
Dennis Fountain – General Manager
Mr. Fountain, our General Manager, has over twenty five years of financial and administrative management experience with Fortune 500 companies, troubled company turnarounds and fast growth technology company start-ups, including Ryder System, UPS, USF & G Insurance, and Coalition America.
Having field and headquarters management experience in a broad range of industries including logistics, property and casualty insurance and healthcare claims services, Mr. Fountain is a resource for strategic planning, continuous process improvement, human resource management and customer/operations support.
He attended the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University with a concentration in Management.
Jennifer Vann – Controller
Jennifer has a BBA from North Georgia College majoring in Accounting and a MAcc from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She brings to the company 15 years of experience gained through various industries including Banking, Public Accounting, Real Estate, Poultry, and Mortuary Sciences from companies with annual sales ranging from the millions to the billions.
Munir Damani Ladha - Business Analyst
Munir has a BBA from Georgia State University majoring in Finance and a minor in Management. He brings to Ultra ten years of Process Improvement, Financial Analysis, and Business Analysis gained from working with Fortune 100 companies such as AT&T and Cox Communications.
Munir is a resource for strategic planning, continuous process improvement, and automation of internal procedures and fills a diverse role within the company including project management, accounting support, or any other role where he is needed.
Nailina Vaghmar - Human Resource Manager
Nailina started with Ultra in the telecommunications department and then earned her degree in telecommunications. She now manages human resources, internal systems, and policy and procedure for Ultra. Nailina’s experience, work ethic, and knowledge base have earned her the role as the “Go-To” person at Ultra.
George Schmidt - Director of Sales
George Schmidt heads up Sales and Customer Relations for both the Telecommunication and Amusement Divisions. George brings 25+ years of sales and marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies throughout the country. He has served in various key sales and marketing positions such as Vice President of Sales and National Accounts Manager. He also ran his own Manufacturer’s ‘Representative firm for eight years. His solid background and well-established relationships with key industry contacts make him a valuable asset to ULTRA.
Anil Damani – Director of Customer Relations
Anil Damani has been with The Ultra Group of Companies since its inception more than a decade ago. Anil has a BBA in Management and in-depth experience in the industry. His courteous and exemplary customer service is of immense value to the organization.
John Sasso – Director of Marketing / New Business Development
John Sasso is a graduate of Queens College in New York as a Business major and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in transportation, franchising and vending to Ultra Group of Companies.
Sasso’s involvement in several entrepreneurial start-up businesses led to their ultimate profitability through the successful placement of over 10,000 coin-operated machines throughout the country. Before joining Ultra Group of Companies, Sasso worked for several major publicly traded companies including DHL Worldwide and Polaroid Corporation. In addition, Sasso effectively recruited and trained over 3,500 franchisees through direct-response marketing campaigns with TV, radio, newspaper and Internet creative development and media placement.
His unique talents include developing strategic and tactical plans to maximize results through effective consumer call-to-action while analyzing situations to fully exceed objectives in a timely matter.
Carl Dasenbrock – Director of Operations
Carl has 25 + years of “hands on” technician, management and business ownership experience encompassing telecommunications and electronics engineering. He has been with Ultra for over ten years, initially managing the pay phones division. With an education foundation in Business Management earned at Gwinnett Technical Institute, Carl’s early career included residential construction, aircraft assembly production, quality control inspection and warehouse management. Before joining Ultra, Carl owned an independent pay telephone equipment maintenance company for six years.
Carl’s strong technical experience as well as his excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills brings a valuable combination to Ultra as he is responsible for managing field and in-house technicians for inventory control, procurement, assembly, and quality control, and his team provides reliable customer service for deliveries and installations.
