Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

If you live and breathe marketing, we need to chat. Here at Ultra, we’re looking for a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound and outbound channels. Marketing manager responsibilities include creating, executing, tracking and analyzing the performance of campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material are in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects. You will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to website, social media, and other events and digital outlets.

  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.

  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, trade shows, publicity and social media.

  • Some creative development/graphic design, copywriting work required.

  • Maintain and produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups.

  • Develop and continually optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

  • Grow our subscriber base and generate leads through data-driven SEM and SEO strategies.

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with relevant industry players and trade organizations, agencies and applicable print publications.

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.

  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and trade show materials.

  • Measure, analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and A/B tests to gain insight and assess against goals.

  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in digital marketing.

  • Manage media buys and associated content

  • Seek out and propose other media outlets for advertising as part of strategic marketing plan


Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/related field or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing role.

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn.

  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.

  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading cross-channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.

  • Proven self-starter with the ability to see what must be done and take decisive action.

  • Solid knowledge of website creation and analytics tools (e.g., Wix, Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends).

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.

  • Comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
