Product Manager

Position Summary

The Product Manager will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. They will break down complex problems into steps that drive speedy product development. This includes defining the product vision, managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products. This position also works closely with sales, marketing and finance to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met while staying true to Ultra’s brand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and propose overall budget to ensure success

  • Gather business requirements and guide engineering, sales and marketing to drive delivery of the whole product (how it is sold, supported, financed etc. ).

  • Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification

  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities

  • Be an expert with respect to our customers needs, our competition and emerging industry trends

  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for our products

  • Perform product demos with customers

  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals, and develop sales tools and collateral

  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings

  • Monitor expansion opportunities in other states and verticals in Georgia 

  • Monitor opportunities for acquisitions that will leverage and expand our product offerings

  • Work with Engineering to prioritize and scope feature changes to current and future product offerings

  • Work with Engineering to evaluate possible features and whether they're worth developing based on ROI.

  • Work with Sales to develop comparisons with other vendors and sales materials that leverage our advantages

  • Work with Sales to gather feature requests and prioritize them for development

  • Work with Support to gather pain points and opportunities to improve the product to make support more efficient


Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • 5+ years of experience in a job in the technology, gaming, or retail markets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Capable of assembling pricing analysis and revenue opportunity

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams

  • Worked with both in-house and offshore software development projects

  • Have worked with Agile projects, including both Scrum and Kanban

  • Familiar with cloud hosting projects and mobile application development
